In the Beginning: ...I studied sciences, graduated, spent a few years in museum conservation laboratories - including three years of putting dinosaurs together at London's Natural History Museum. Somewhere along the line... I chose another combination of art and technology in graphic design. After five years as an in-house designer for Pembrokeshire companies I started Theropod Design, seeking to provide a source of innovative and creative graphic design in West Wales. If you're keen on 'mission statements' (I'm not), I believe that functional design need not exclude artistic inspiration. I'm not saying conformity is a bad thing, but suggesting that aesthetic appeal, shock tactics, and pinching ideas from a millennium of artistic expression can have their place too - and more than that, they can give your design product that all important competitive edge.
